Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is Craig — the cutest little guy with a shy heart and big hopes for a forever family.
Craig is a 2-month-old male hound mix currently waiting for a home at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. He’s described as curious and friendly, with just a touch of shyness. Since he’s so new, staff are still getting to know him — but what they do know is that he’s sweet and full of potential.
Recently, the Humane Society took in a large number of puppies that were dumped, and Craig is one of them. While the amazing team is doing their best to keep him safe and loved, Craig has never known the comfort of a real home or family — and he’s more than ready to find his very first one.
We know Springfield can be a bit of a drive, but sharing this post could help Craig (and other pups like him) connect with someone — whether local or willing to make the trip. You never know whose heart he might touch.

-Given flea/tick prevention and dewormer
