Featured Pet of The Day-Faithful

Faithful is being returned and is in need of a new foster or forever home.

Faithful is a wonderful German Shepherd who has already overcome so much in his life. He came to Ozarks Pet Rescue after suffering severe injuries from a coyote attack and has made an incredible full recovery.

Faithful was placed in a foster-to-adopt home and has done very well overall. He does have some mild separation anxiety, and his adopter reports that he has chewed blinds when left loose in the home. However, they have not yet tried kenneling him when away, and we believe a crate could help him feel more secure.

Unfortunately, Faithful’s adopters recently moved and discovered their landlord does not allow dogs, forcing them to make the heartbreaking decision to return him.
