Goldie has been through more than most dogs ever should.
From surviving on the streets, twice… to becoming a mama… seeing all her pups get adopted, to finally getting a chance at a home of her own, 3 times—her journey hasn’t been easy. And just when we thought her story had found its ending, life brought her back to us.
Goldie was returned from adoption and has been quietly decompressing, trying to understand yet again what a home is supposed to feel like.
Now we get to share her truth:Goldie is a deeply good girl who just needs someone to understand her heart.
She is:
- 2 years old
- House trained
- Spayed
- Up to date on vaccinations
- Wonderful with other dogs
- Great with cats
- Excellent on leash
- Loving… but on her own quiet, gentle terms
- Goldie is independent, but she still wants her people close. She doesn’t demand constant attention—but she does want to know you’re there. That she belongs.
- Like so many dogs who’ve had to learn the world the hard way, Goldie carries a little anxiety with her.
Things that feel hard for her:
- Vacuum cleaners
- Big storms
- A lot of commotion
- Crates (though she is trying and improving)
- Being confined or heavily penned
What she needs now isn’t perfection—it’s patience. A steady home. A soft place to land. Someone who will let her exhale and finally stop wondering what’s going to happen next.
Goldie has spent enough of her life surviving and we know the perfect person is out there for her!
