Good morning, and finally, happy Friday! Today’s Pet of the Day is Irma! Irma is the sweetest baby girl with a silly personality who has only one goal, and that is to make you smile. Something great you should know about Irma is that her adoption fee is sponsored, so you can help her get her forever home by adopting her for free. She is a 10-year-old, 48lb pittie mix that was found on the streets. She loves playing outside and loves playing tug-of-war with all the volunteers and workers at the rescue. Irma loves her bacon treats and would be best friends with anyone who has any. At 10, Irma isn’t entirely too active, so if you are looking for a pup that is fun and spunky but doesn’t need constant exercise, she is your girl. She gets really excited to meet new people and loves kids 12 and older to make sure her excitement doesn’t scare the younger kids. She is good with male dogs but is wary of other female dogs. The shelter and Irma would love to do a meet and greet with dogs to make sure that they would make great siblings before adoption.
If you’re interested in meeting Irma, fill out an application at the shelter or online at SWH.ORG. She’ll be waiting!
Please share Irma’s story to help her find a home to live the rest of her days in. This baby girl deserves a loving home after spending maybe her whole 10-year life on the streets. Now, just so you know, she is with the Humane Society so it is about a 2-hour drive to pick her up if you want to adopt her, but it would definitely be worth it. Thank you and have a great weekend!
