Good morning, to our absolutely wonderful community! Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is Misha. Misha is currently being held at Ozarks Pet Rescue and is needing a new family. Misha’s owner brought her to the OPR fosters to get her moved to a calmer home because she is not adjusting well. Misha was born in September of 2024 and was a bonded pair with her sister. But her sister was taken away to another family and now Misha is extremely shy and scared of loud noises. She is very good and sweet with other dogs, they are unsure about cats and she is terrified of loud noises like blenders and constant shouting, in a way that makes her hide not get aggressive. Her owner took a job where Misha was left in a kennel for 10 hours a day!
If anyone is interested in doing a foster to adopt with Misha we can get our trainer to work with her at our cost!
Please share or reach out to OPR if you would like to foster or adopt Misha to help her find
a home calmer and suited to her fears.
Sunrise Foster Pups wrote this about this sweet baby, “This is Misha. She’s a 5-month-old blue nose pitbull/staffy. We took her in from a home that loved her but had to leave her in a crate 10 hours a day and they knew she needed more. Unfortunately, she is stressed in our house. We have an active, noisy household (blenders, juicers, dogs barking, kids being noisy, etc) and all the chaos and noise is a bit much for her. She LOVES being with us playing or snuggling, but while she is hanging out, if someone turns on the blender, she looks terrified and pees a little. Or if someone yells at someone else in the house while near her, she pees a little. We have tried to tone things down but the poor baby needs a calmer household. I love her and want her to thrive! So, if you are interested in adopting her or fostering her, please reach out to Ozarks Pet Rescue.”
