Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is an absolute beauty. Meet Nikko. Nikko is a 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog and Australian Sheperd mix staying at the Humane Society of Missouri. Before I go into detail with Nikko, all I have to say is look at those eyes and that coloring, Gorgeous!
Nikko’s got loads of energy and will make a fun companion! He is protective of his people and skeptical of strangers. The Humane Society knows there is a place for him to reach his full potential and live his best life! He is sweet with the people he trusts and is a precious angel baby who leans into you, loves neck and chest scratches, and will look deep into your eyes. He does great with other dogs and even goes out in their playgroups! He would do best in a home with no children, as he is already nervous with new people. He is very loyal to his people and will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to put in the work to win his heart! He is up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
