Featured Pet of the Day – “Rex”

Good morning and it’s a Monday! Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is Rex (as dubbed by me). This sweet little boy is another baby at the City of West Plains Animal Care and Control so he doesn’t have a name, but he is Rex for this post. This poor boy needs a shout-out so here we go.

Rex is a 45-pound boxer mix and the best little boy so quick to smile. He was picked up by Animal Control when he was just 8 weeks old with his siblings and now he is the last one left and has been alone for a while. He is now 8 months old and has never known a home or a family outside the Animal Control kennels.

Rex loves human interaction and is still learning. He loves playing and is extremely excited when he gets to go out and play in the yard. Rex loves to play with his ball and he also loves playing with other dogs, so if your furry friend wants a friend of its own Rex would be happy to fill that position. Rex would love to find a family who would be patient and continue to train him.

If you are interested in helping Rex finally find a family after 8 months of having no one to love him contact the City of West Plains Animal Control. His adoption fee is $40, and it includes the rabies vaccination and the neuter.
Please share and help Rex!
