Featured Pet of the Day – “Rufus”

 

Rufus is an adorable 8-year-old Terrier/Pit mix currently looking for a loving family and a bigger yard to run in, through Ozarks Pet Rescue.

After a loss in the family, Rufus was inherited by his current caretakers. While he’s being well cared for, he doesn’t love being confined to a small yard or crate—he’d much prefer a home where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some open space.

– Neutered

– Great with kids and other dogs

– Not a fan of cats

– Very sweet, loyal, and loving

 

Rufus truly is a wonderful dog. He’s just used to a bigger environment, but he has so much love to give. Sure, he’s 8—but he’s 8 years young and fit as a fiddle! He still has plenty of energy and many happy years ahead.
