Today’s Featured Pet of the Day is Squirt — and he’s ready to steal your heart!
Squirt is currently being cared for at the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri. This handsome, 1-year-old German Shepherd mix was surrendered after his owner tragically lost their home and could no longer care for him. His previous owner shared that Squirt is an incredibly curious, active, and loving dog who absolutely thrives on human affection. His favorite part of the day? Head scratches and attention!
This sweet boy never wanted for love — and his owner’s decision to surrender him came from wanting Squirt to have the best life possible. Now, we’re on a mission to help him find just that!
Here’s what we know about Squirt:
– He’s smart, loyal, and affectionate
– He loves being around people of all ages, including kids
– He’s curious about other dogs and cats — a meet-and-greet is recommended to make sure it’s the perfect fit
– He craves companionship and would love an active home where he can stay busy and feel loved
The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri’s goal is to match each pet with a home that fits their lifestyle — and Squirt deserves that perfect family.
All animals adopted from the Humane Society come up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick prevention and dewormer.
