Mountain Home, AR. – Mountain Home Mayor Hillery Adams spoke to us about several projects for the City of Mountain Home, not the least of which are plans for a Community Center set to span over 100,000sq.ft.
According to Adams, this facility is set to be complete with 3 basketball courts, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, a building with an elevated walking trail, meeting rooms, workout and yoga rooms, a 10-lane competition pool for competitions, and more.
The intended location for this new building is behind the Ford and GMC stores, in McCaden Park. Construction is set to begin sometime next year, and has been paid for with a previously passed sales tax increase.
