West Plains, MO. – MSU-West Plains’ 17th annual Ozarks Studies Symposium will be returning this year on September 19th through the 21st, and the theme has been officially set.
This years theme is listed as “The Political Economy of the Ozarks”. The yearly symposium is meant to celebrate the culture and history of our section of the USA, with various presentations and performances.
During the event, art displays, music, poetry readings, and live discussions will take place.
The keynote address for the Symposium this year will be delivered at 5:30pm on Friday, September 20th in the Magnolia Room by Kimberly Harper, who wrote a book about various rogues of the Ozarks.
