18-Year-Old Salem, MO. Driver Fatally Injured

Salem, MO. – An 18-year-old from Salem, MO. has been fatally injured after they were ejected from their motorcycle Saturday night.

Corporal G.R. Moravec of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop I was the investigator in this crash.

Kenneth Laughlin was the 18-year-old motorcycle rider who suffered fatal injuries in the accident. According to the crash report, Laughlin ran off the right side of southbound Highway HH, 2 miles south of Salem, at 10:40 p.m. Saturday night.

After traveling off the roadway, he went airborne over a culvert, struck a tree, and was ejected. Laughlin was pronounced deceased by Dent County Coroner Gina White the next morning at 8:20 a.m.
