Mountain Grove, MO. – A two-vehicle accident near Mountain Grove on Sunday night has injured two local women. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 7:40 p.m. on Business 60, two miles east of Mountain Grove.
A westbound 2005 Chevy Cobalt driven by Megan Tinsley was driving slowly when it was struck from behind by a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by Gracelynn Richardson, age 18 of Mountain Grove. Both vehicles were totaled.
Tinsley was charged for Driving While Intoxicated and No Insurance before being released to EMS to be taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for her injuries. Richardson suffered moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
