2022 Fulton County Murder Trial Ends with Not Guilty Verdict

Salem, AR. – A trial surrounding the murder of a Fulton County Sheriff’s Office employee has finished, and the trial ended with a “not guilty” verdict.

In July 2022, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office lost one of their employees to an apparent gunshot wound, which led to an investigation and the arrest of a pair of individuals in January 2023.

Harvey John Taylor, arrested for the murder of his wife and Fulton County Sheriff’s Office employee, Kristy Taylor.

The victim in this case was 57-year-old Kristy Taylor. The two arrested for their suspected involvement were Harvey John Taylor, the victim’s estranged husband, and Tommy Sanchez, a work associate of Harvey Taylor.

After being postponed for a defense motion for continuation, the trial officially took place last week, and it took said week to come to a conclusion. After deliberation on Friday, the jury found Harvey John Taylor not guilty. The second individual arrested in relation to the murder, Tommy Sanchez, has yet to go to trial.
