Salem, AR. – A trial surrounding the murder of a Fulton County Sheriff’s Office employee has finished, and the trial ended with a “not guilty” verdict.
In July 2022, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office lost one of their employees to an apparent gunshot wound, which led to an investigation and the arrest of a pair of individuals in January 2023.
The victim in this case was 57-year-old Kristy Taylor. The two arrested for their suspected involvement were Harvey John Taylor, the victim’s estranged husband, and Tommy Sanchez, a work associate of Harvey Taylor.
After being postponed for a defense motion for continuation, the trial officially took place last week, and it took said week to come to a conclusion. After deliberation on Friday, the jury found Harvey John Taylor not guilty. The second individual arrested in relation to the murder, Tommy Sanchez, has yet to go to trial.
