Willow Springs, Mo. – On the first day of the new year, the Willow Springs Thomas F. Benyo Municipal Golf course will host a tournament honoring a long-standing citizen and avid golfer. Otis Petrus hosted this tournament for many years and in all kinds of weather and this tradition continues in 2022.
The 2022 G&W/OPO Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. This is a 2-person scramble with 9 holes and cash prizes. A sack lunch and mulligans will be provided and carts will be available to rent. Sign-up is $25 per person. This unique tournament will be held in all weather conditions except for snow cover on the ground.
