22 arrested during warrant round-up

WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The West Plains Police Department says 22 people were arrested on active warrants on Thursday.

The department announced Thursday afternoon that officers, along with officers with the Willow Springs and Mountain View police departments, conducted the round-up between the hours of 6:30 am and 4:30 pm Thursday.

A total of 22 people and 39 arrest warrants issued by the West Plains Municipal Court were cleared, and three additional drug arrests were conducted during the round up. All the warrants served were on charges of failure to appear and failure to appear to show cause, according to a release from the department.
