Chaos Closet Sponsors Storage Unit for 37th Circuit Children’s Division

West Plains, MO. – For the third year in a row, The Chaos Closet is sponsoring a storage unit for 37th Circuit Children’s Division.

When children enter foster care, they’re not able to take any personal belongings with them, whether a bike or toys, or anything in between. Sadly, as more and more children enter into care, the need for a place to keep these small comforts is great.

That’s where Chaos Closet has stepped in. With generous support from community donors, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves foster children and families in the 37th Judicial Circuit has secured an 1,800 square foot storage unit for the next year.

Children’s Division Circuit Manager Shawn Bentley is grateful.

“On behalf of 37thh Circuit Children’s Division, I want to thank The Chaos Closet and the generous community members who have once again stepped up and provided for our children a place to store their belongings,” said Bentley. “I am humbled by the blessings we receive each year.”

“We’re thankful to be living in a community that recognizes the needs of children in foster and residential care,” said Chaos Closet Executive Director DeeDee Button. “We hope that by providing a safe place for their personal belongings, they are able to hold on to their dignity and know their belongings will be safe until they have them again.”

The Chaos Closet provides clothing, diapers, formula, and more to foster families in the 37th Judicial Circuit, which includes Howell, Oregon, Shannon and Carter counties.
