West Plains, MO. – The workforce development programs at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) will be the topic of the Friends of the Garnett Library meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 9.
The group will meet at the Terry L. “Bo” Pace Industrial Science Center, 218 W. Broadway. Sheila Barton, director of workforce development programs, and Chuck Cook, lecturer of welding and technology, will give the presentation, organizers said.
The program also will include a tour of the Pace Industrial Science Center, organizers added.
Parking will be available along Lincoln Avenue on the north side of the building or in the Grizzly House parking lot directly behind the building. Masking is optional, organizers said.
Cost of the box lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should make a reservation by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7.
