3 Juveniles, 2 Adults Injured in Two Vehicle Crash

Pomona, MO. – Three juveniles and two adults were injured in a crash that occurred at the intersection of U.S. 63 and Route P in the Pomona area.

This crash took place at 1:34pm on July 20th. A Toyota Corolla, driven by a 70-year-old Palm City, FL. Resident, Julio Dotel, was travelling Eastbound and attempted to cross U.S. 63. Dotel failed to yield, and struck the side of a Southbound Ford Fusion travelling down the highway.

Dotel was unharmed in the crash, but five individuals in the Fusion sustained injury. A 2-year-old male, a 3 year-old female, a 4-year-old female, and the driver, Jaysa Bunch, 25 of Mountain Grove, sustained minor injuries. Lastly, another occupant, 28-year-old Destinee Bunch of Norwood, suffered moderate injuries. All injured individuals were transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

The investigator of this crash was Corporal M. Barron of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
