HOWELL COUNTY, MO – Three West Plains residents were seriously injured in a two vehicle accident Thursday morning at 9:40 AM on Highway JJ, five miles south of Highway 160.
According to the report from Troop G of the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as two vehicles met on a one lane bridge and struck each other head on. The drivers of the two vehicles were 29 year old Rebecca Lynn, and 72 year old James Loy.

Lynn was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Loy was transported to OMC by Ambulance. Also 69 year old Connie Loy was transported to OMC by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries.
