West Plains, MO. – An inmate at the South Central Correctional Center died Friday afternoon.
At 1:38 p.m. on August 11, 2023, offender Bronson Vestal was pronounced deceased at the prison located in Licking, Missouri.

Vestal was a 33-year-old offender serving a five-year sentence for stealing – $750 or more from Buchanan County. Vestal was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on March 11, 2022.
The cause of death has not been determined at this time. An autopsy is set to be conducted.
