4 Injured in Friday Evening Crash near Brandsville

Brandsville, MO. – A crash involving two vehicles and a towed piece of equipment has injured 4 individuals from West Plains, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Ford F-250 was being driven by Donald Gasper, a 60-year-old man from Lindsay, Nebraska. Gasper was moving Northbound along US 63, when his towed unit crossed the center line one mile North of Brandsville, causing it to collide with a Southbound Chevy Tahoe.

The Tahoe was totaled and four individuals inside were injured. Two male juveniles, 4 and 6 respectively, suffered minor injuries. Lydia Brashear, 32, also suffered minor injuries. Glen Brashear, 52, suffered moderate injuries. All four were transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.

The time of the crash was 6:30pm, and all involved were wearing safety devices. The accident investigation was performed by Trooper T.D. Pond of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G. In assistance was Corporal C.A. Kimes.
