Springfield, MO. – An 84-year-old Mountain Grove resident is recovering from injuries following an accident that took place less than 2 miles from Springfield.
This crash occurred at 5:25pm on July 21st, and took place on US 60, roughly 1.5 miles East of Springfield. Trooper T.G. Hackett of Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol was the investigator of this accident.

A Dodge Ram 1500 being driven by a Springfield driver, Erick Womack, 46, travelled into the path of Teresa Utter, 59 of Springfield driving a Subaru Outback.
Neither driver was injured, but one passenger of the Outback, Evelyn Turner, 84 of Mountain Grove, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. She was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
