A Food Truck Festival, a Downtown Concerts, an Elvis Celebration and More in West Plains This Week

West Plains, MO. – West Plains Arts Alliance representative Terry Hampton talked to us about this goings on in West Plains over this week, and there’s more than enough reason to get hyped.

This week should be packed to the gills with events going on in the area just before back-to-school starts, but today we’ll be start with events on Thursday, August 15th. That will include the returning Food Truck festival just outside the West Plains Civic Center from 10am to 2pm! Some food trucks sold out early last time, so make sure you show up early to get some good food.

After that on the same day, Sounds Downtown will be returning to the mural in front of Luster Arcade, to give residents a chance to get outside and talk to others from around the area while listening to live music and ordering food from local eateries. this will take place 6:30 to 9:30pm.

On Saturday starting at 11am, Elvis on the Avenue will start, with various Elvis-themed events with will also include food trucks and vendors.

Lastly, also on Saturday, the annual August Bazaar will be taking place at the Yellow House, right next to the College on West Trish Knight Street, which will feature food, vendors, art, live music, and more.
