The Howell County Suicide Prevention Network is preparing for its fourth annual “A Talk to Remember: Light a Flame for Suicide Prevention” event, set for September 11, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the West Plains Civic Center. The gathering aims to build a more caring, connected community by raising awareness around suicide prevention and offering space to remember loved ones lost to suicide.
The event is coordinated by the Howell County Suicide Prevention Network. For more information, community members may contact Amanda Foster at afoster@cpozarks.org.
