An accident occurred when a 37-year-old West Plains lost control of the 2020 Hyundai Accent she was driving, possibly due to hydroplaning, crossed the center median and struck a 2024 Toyota Rav4 driven by a 70-year-old Ava man. Both drivers and a passenger of the Toyota were transported to Ozarks Healthcare for injuries. The accident happened at U.S. 63 and UU Highway south of Willow Springs.
