WEST PLAINS, MO – As Ozarks Healthcare continues to expand, the health system is bringing advanced services, including wound care and pulmonology, to its outlying clinics. Wound care is the latest addition to health services at Ozarks Healthcare in Gainesville.
Dr. William “Andy” McGee, Medical Director of Ozarks Healthcare Wound Care, can provide specialized treatment for chronic or non-healing wounds on site at Ozarks Healthcare in Gainesville. Chronic and non-healing wounds may include sores or wounds that have not significantly improved from conventional treatments. Typically, a wound that does not respond to normal medical care within 14 days is considered a problem or chronic wound.
“Patients can now get the same specialty wound care they need locally,” Tracy Evans, Practice Manager at Ozarks Healthcare in Gainesville, said. “This is much more convenient and affordable for our patients to not have to travel to West Plains each time they need to utilize wound care services.”
Ozarks Healthcare uses state-of-the-art treatments, including debridement, dressing selection, special shoes, and more to help patients heal and enjoy a better quality of life.
