Alton, MO. – Eclipse news continues as another community in the area has issued a formal announcement of a celebration to take place on the weekend leading up to the Great American Eclipse on April 8th of this year, less than a month away.
This event is called “Comet Country Gone Dark” and it is being organized by the Alton Chamber of Commerce. This festival itself will happen on Saturday, April 6th from 11am to 5pm on the Court Square. According to the Chamber, festivities will include food, handcrafted products, eclipse education, and more.
