In December 2023, Ervin Harrison, a 63-year-old man from Arkansas, was arrested by Sgt. Aaron Box as a Parole Absconder out of Arkansas. During the arrest, Harrison was found to be in possession of several prescription pills that he did not have a prescription for. After his arrest, he was extradited back to Arkansas to face charges there.
However, the case took another turn when, on October 25, 2024, a warrant was issued for Harrison in Missouri on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. No bond was set for his release in Missouri.

On March 1, 2025, Harrison was extradited to Missouri to face his Douglas County warrant. He is currently being held without bond as he awaits further legal proceedings.
