Mountain Home, MO. – The Baxter County Sheriff’s Department has issued a statement about a Mountain Home parolee who has been arrested on a variety of drug-related charges after just being released from prison earlier this year.
This arrest happened on Thursday, August 1st and began with a traffic stop due to speed over 20 miles per hour over the limit. The driver was identified as Nicholas Koskinen. During the search of his vehicle, a suspended drivers license, methamphetamine, psyllium mushrooms, marijuana, and various pills were found.
Due to this arrest, Koskinen is facing 7 felonies and 3 misdemeanors related to drugs, speeding, and driving while suspended. There has also been a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender with 23 prior felonies.
