Arkansas State Trooper Class Graduates for 2023, Two Assigned to Troop I

Little Rock, AR. – Fifty-two fully certified officer recruits successfully graduated and became Arkansas State Troopers on December 21st, in a class size that was the largest since 1977.

The original class size was an initial count of 230 applicants, who were then tested, interviewed, and trained, completing roughly 760 hours of instruction. The swearing-in ceremony included keynote speaker Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Cody Hiland.

Those assigned to our local area of Arkansas, designated as Troop I, include Jared Curtis, and Cody Lee, who will become a part of the Highway Patrol Division. In addition, a third graduate, Erick Riggs, is set to be assigned to Company E of the Criminal Investigation Division. Both Divisions find their home in Bellfonte, AR. in Boone County.
