Arkansas State University- Mountain Home Awarded $450,000

Mountain Home, AR. – Arkansas State University – Mountain Home received a $450,000 grant from the Delta Workforce Grant Program through the Delta Regional Authority. This grant is part of a $10 million investment in projects across eight states. This money is to be invested in expanding their extrusion and injection molding program. 

This will provide industry-driven training and workforce development in the Twin Lakes Area. The training in this program will take place at ASUMH’s Dr. Robert L. Myers Technical Education Campus and will provide students with the tools to train for a successful manufacturing career. The training will be available to the ASUMH masses in the 2023-2025 academic year and classes will apply toward a degree in Mechatronics.
