Arraignment Set for West Plains Man Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter

West Plains, MO. – An arraignment has been formally scheduled for the West Plains man who was arrested for his involvement in the death of another in a 2023 crash.

Everett Neal Moss, 21, was charged with Felony 1st Degree Manslaughter for the death of Charlotte Wilson on May 20th. This happened after he crashed his vehicle, a Hyundai Santa Fe, on State Route BB just outside of West Plains. This happened because Moss had failed to negotiate a curve while travelling at an excess speed of roughly 70mph. Moss was found with various drugs in his system at the time of the crash.

Wilson had been in the most damaged section of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased on-scene.

Moss will see a judge today in an open court to state his plea on the charges he faces.
