Arrest Made in Thursday Manhunt in Fulton County, Ar

Salem, Ar. – The Fulton County Sheriff with the assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies were able to arrest a man wanted in Sharp County. On January 26, at about 4pm, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office received information that Timothy Dover Jr. was in the Agnos area. Dover was a parole absconder and had been in hiding from Sharp County since July 2, 2021. He had a felony warrant and nation-wide extradition.

A Fulton County Deputy, along with a Parole and Probation officer went to the area where Dover was reported to be. Dover was spotted walking between Highway 62 and a wooded area. When Dover spotted the Deputy, he fled into the woods.

A search of the area began that night with the aid of the Arkansas State Police, the City of Salem, and the North Central Unit Dog Team. While the search ended on Wednesday with no results, a call was received by the Fulton County Sheriff on the morning of January 27 that Dover had been spotted again nearby. 

The search began on Thursday with the assistance of a helicopter provided by the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office. Dover was apprehended in a creek bed between Old Peace Valley Road and The Day Road following a brief foot chase.
