Artfully Aging, an Art Show, and More in West Plains This Week

West Plains, MO. – This week appears to be packed when it comes to West Plains Arts Alliance activities. Terry Hampton tells us about multiple events taking place in multiple places around town.

One event is called Artfully Aging taking place at the MU Extension Center. In this event, attendees aged 60+ will have an opportunity to enjoy special hands-on art activities from a variety of local artists, enjoy refreshments. and receive important updates on benefits provided by some specific Medicare/Medicaid programs. The Howell County Health Department Mobile Van will be on site for tours and/or vaccinations.

After that on the college campus, the Garnett Library will be holding a Henry Rose school craft presentation.

On Wednesday, the “Conversation Starters” Art Show put on the the Ozarks Artery, will be on display.

On Thursday, the Avenue Theatre will be hosting an event called “Single Bingo”, as well as a fundraising breakfast taking place on Saturday. This will be taking place at Hirsch Feed at 7am.
