Audio: This week in the Mo. Senate

This Week in the Missouri Senate:

  • Senate Bill 525, legislation that would allow recovery charter high schools to be operated in Kansas City for students in recovery from substance use disorder or dependency (Audio: Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, and Sen. Brian Williams, D-University City);
  • Senate Bill 538, 562 and 601, a measure that seeks to modify penalties relating to criminal offenses involving deadly weapons (Audio: Sen. Doug Libla, R-Poplar Bluff, and Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, D-St. Louis);
  • Senate Bill 530, which would modify provisions relating to illegal gambling (Audio: Sen. Mike Cunningham, R-Rogersville, and Sen. Nasheed); and
  • Senate Bill 677 and House Bill 1693, which both relate to a statewide prescription drug-monitoring program (Audio: Missouri Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz, R-Sullivan, and Missouri Senate Minority Floor Leader Gina Walsh, D-Bellefontaine Neighbors).
