West Plains, MO. – The former law enforcement and school resource officer who is charged with multiple felonies including child molestation and rape will have a trial by jury in August.
Rob Pilkington of Pomona is facing 13 felony charges in connection with the sexual assault of a child under the age of 14 in 2021. The trial will begin on August 29, 2023 in Butler County with Judge Robert David Ray.
Pilkington was originally arrested in November 2021 after reports of sexual acts of a minor. The minor was not an attendee of the school that the accused was a resource officer. Following the drop of the original charges, 13 felony charges including statutory sodomy, statutory rape, child molestation, and use of a child in a sexual performance resulting in serious emotional injury were filed in June of last year.
