West Plains, MO. – In West Plains Missouri, the latest in the chain of Fall festivals is set to occur. This is the Autumn Harvest Fest, set to take place at the Heart of the Ozarks Fairground this Saturday, October 21st.
Organizers have touted that this event will feature artists, craftsmen, cooks, and a kids fun area as this festival is stated to be a family-friendly event. A scarecrow contest will also be available during this time. There will also be a Autumn Harvest Fest Car Show to take place at the same time, with awards for Best Original Antique, Best Restored Antique, Best Paint, Most Filthy, Best Truck, Best SUV, and Best of Show.
All is set to begin at 9am, with admission simply being a donation of canned goods. Registration for the car show however takes place at 8:30am, and will cost $10. Judging at the show will begin at 11am.
