AVA, Mo. — Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold the Ava Community Blood Drive from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in the Ava High School cafeteria, 507 N. Spring St. in Ava.
The blood drive will be held in honor of Memphis Brooks Hall. Area residents who are eligible to donate are encouraged to participate and help support the blood supply for hospitals throughout the Ozarks.
While supplies last, donors will receive a free premium velour beach towel featuring a “Chillin’ in the Ozarks” design. Donors may also enter for a chance to win a $10,000 dream vacation.

Donors should bring photo identification, eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of fluids before arriving. Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is the exclusive provider of blood to hospitals throughout the Ozarks.
