Ava, MO. – The City Wide Clean-Up Week for Ava will start Monday, May 2 to Friday, May 6. Clean up for the East Ward will be on Monday and Tuesday; and the West Ward clean up will be on Wednesday and Thursday. This Clean-up Week is for residential homes in the Ava city limits only, no businesses. All items must be placed at the curb prior to the days of clean-up. There will be no call backs.
Accepted:
- Chairs, sofas, mattress, etc.
- Tree limbs or brush that was cut down on premises by owner. Please separate the brush from the trash.
- Leaves must be placed in plastic bags and placed at the curb. Only leaves will be picked up. Bags with other material mixed in with the leaves will not be picked up.
Any other type of containers will not be accepted. Example: Bags containing rocks, paper, sticks, cans, household waste or other material will not be picked up.
Not accepted: Household waste, tree limbs or brush cut by contractors, tree topped or cut down, tires or car parts, hazardous material, household appliances.
