The Ava Community Center has announced its July activity calendar, featuring a variety of recreational, educational and wellness programs throughout the month.
Bingo will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Pitch tournaments are scheduled for noon every Thursday.
Chair exercise classes will be offered from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays.
Pool tournaments are planned for noon on Wednesdays.
American Sign Language (ASL) classes will meet from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, July 15, 22 and 29.
Basics of My Cell Phone with Josh will be offered from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14 and July 21.
Community members can enjoy Connect 4, checkers or Yahtzee from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Mondays, July 13 and 20.
Back in the Day Trivia will be held from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on Fridays, July 17, 24 and 31.
Monday Night Music is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 13 and 27, while Music on Mondays during lunch and morning line dancing from 10 to 11 a.m. are both listed as coming soon.
The center will also host several special events throughout the month. A Foot Clinic is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, and again on Tuesday, July 28. A Birthday Celebration will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 14, and the calendar lists a Health Department visit at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21.
