AVA, Mo. — Local businesses are invited to help Ava R-1 Schools welcome 14 new educators who will join the district for the 2026-2027 school year.
The district is assembling welcome bags for the incoming educators and is asking participating businesses to donate 14 of the same item. Suggested contributions include branded merchandise, snacks, gift cards, pens, coupons or other creative items. Flyers will not be accepted.

Businesses should include their contact information with their donations.
Items must be delivered by Friday, Aug. 7, to the Ava School Administration Office, 507 N. Spring St. in Ava.
