Ava, MO. – A single individual was involved in a rollover crash near Ava on Monday, May 29th.
The driver involved in this crash was Steven Denney, a 30-year-old male from Ava. Denney was driving Westbound on Highway 76, 3 miles Southwest of Ava, when he travelled off the right side of the roadway. This caused his vehicle, a Ford Ranger, to impact the ground, roll over a fence, and then come to rest in a nearby field.

Denney was not wearing a safety device in the accident and suffered moderate injuries. Ground ambulance services took him to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
Investigation on this accident was performed by Master Sergeant C.A. Hogue of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
