Ava Student Recognized at State Capitol

Ava High School student, Matthew Lakey, recently visited the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City. Lakey was presented with a proclamation, recognizing him as the State Vice President of the Area 12 FFA Association.

155th District State Representative, Matthew Overcast, visited with Lakey while he was at the Capitol, saying, “I was particularly pleased to welcome Matthew Lakey, the Vice President of our FFA Chapter, who came by for their Legislative Day, showcasing the importance of youth involvement in our civic processes.”
