A 62‑year‑old Ava woman was moderately injured Monday afternoon in a crash eight miles east of Ava. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the driver was heading northeast on County Road 210 around 2 p.m. when her 1987 Kenworth dump truck failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned.
The truck sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
