A two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Ozark County left one woman with minor injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 3:17 p.m. on Missouri Route O, about three miles west of Bakersfield. Troopers say a 2023 Ford box truck driven by a 21-year-old West Plains man was traveling westbound when it turned into the path of an eastbound 2015 Ford Escape.
The Escape, driven by a 37-year-old woman from Bakersfield, struck the passenger side of the box truck. The woman sustained minor injuries and was transported to Baxter Health for treatment.
The Ford Escape was totaled and towed from the scene, while the box truck sustained minor damage and was driven away. Both drivers were reportedly wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
