West Plains, MO. – Along with the upcoming Kansas City Barbeque Sanctioned Festival coming up in May, it has been announced that there will be a battle of the bands contest, and bands are currently being sought.
This contest will coincide with the barbeque festival, taking place on May 18th at the West Plains Fair Grounds. Five bands will be accepted and will compete for a cash prize. Bands that wish to enter will need to submit a demo to Ozark Marketing or the Ozark Horse Trader at 983 US Highway East 160 before March 31st.
This contest is organized by Give Local First, the non-profit of Ozark Marketing, and proceeds from the contest and the BBQ Festival as a whole will be benefitting the Veterans Program of the West Plains Elks Lodge #2418.
