MOUNTAIN HOME, AR – Do you ever wonder what goes on inside the library after hours? This secret world will be revealed with your stuffed animal friends at the annual Library Stuffed Animal Sleepover.
On Friday, March 3, between 4:00pm – 6:00pm kids are invited to drop off their stuffed animals at the library to enjoy a fun sleepover. The stuffed animals are then photographed by Library staff having all sorts of fun while on their overnight adventure. Saturday, March 4, parents and kids may return at either 10:00am or 11:00am to pick up their stuffed animals, enjoy a light breakfast, a special story time, and view all the photos of their stuffed animal friends at the library.

Stuffed animal sleepovers are one of the latest trends taking place in libraries to encourage young children to read. The events combine creative play, storytelling, and a love of books into a memorable experience! These events, which are often filled with magic and wonder, help encourage kids to pick up a book and read on their own!
