Mountain Home, AR. – According to KTLO in Mountain Home, a Baxter County man has been declared a fugitive of the law as he failed to make an appearance in court on Monday.
The man’s name is Michael Jay Rose, who was arrested after he struck a victim in the back of the head with a beer bottle, a lawn chair, and his bare hands.
This event occurred on May 13th of 2022 at 1:50am in Gassville, AR. It was reported by a 911 call by someone who was a witness to the event on South School Street. Officer Griffin was dispatched by 911 in response, and investigation supported allegations against Rose.
Rose was originally arrested and held in the Baxter County Jail on a $10,000 bond and bonded out. Language in the probable cause attested to the seriousness of the attack, but a motive was not addressed.
