Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Amorie Smith, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, to the Baxter Health Bone and Joint Clinic. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner joining the practice of Dr. Win Moore, Dr. Thomas E. Knox, Dr. Ed Roeder, and Cheyenne Morgan, PA-C.
Amorie has been a nurse for over 10 years with her most recent experience being an emergency department charge nurse at Baxter Health Cline Emergency Center. Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and her Associate of Science in Nursing at Missouri State University.
Outside of caring for her patients, Amorie enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and her eight-year-old daughter who loves to play volleyball and soccer. Amorie is excited for this new adventure at the Bone and Joint Clinic where she is able to put all of her knowledge and expertise into one area, orthopaedic care.
